Promotion rules
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Eligible products
Promote a legitimate external product, website or X profile using its direct URL or @handle. A flowtools directory listing is not required. Category assignment is optional. Products in a category also participate in the main ranking. Automatic checks do not replace your responsibility to comply with these rules.
Prohibited targets and conduct
- Illegal content or services, fraud, scams, phishing, malware and deceptive impersonation.
- Adult sexual content, sexual exploitation or content involving the abuse of children.
- Copyright piracy, unauthorized distribution and sites primarily facilitating infringement. Torrent technology alone is not evidence of infringement; unlawful content or facilitation is prohibited.
- Threats, hateful abuse, violence, exploitation, unlawful discrimination or disclosure of private information without permission.
- Shortened links, concealed destinations, misleading redirects or changes made to bypass checks or a block.
- Payment abuse, ranking manipulation, misleading product information or infringement of another person's rights.
Ranking and homepage visibility
Confirmed eligible bid totals determine the order. Higher totals rank higher; ties favor the product that reached the same total first. Refunds and reversals reduce contributions. The review step identifies which ranking windows your bid contributes to; calendar windows use the configured ranking time zone.
The homepage features the top 3 of the selected Yearly or All time ranking. Other positions are available on the dedicated ranking page. Payment does not guarantee a particular or permanent homepage position, traffic or commercial results. A category filter narrows the displayed products; it does not remove categorized products from the main ranking.
Reports, restrictions and appeals
Use a product's flag to report an unsuitable promotion. Reports are reviewed before action. We may hide a product and block its domain and associated subdomains, or the specific X profile, from future promotion. Moderation does not erase financial records or automatically issue a refund. Refund rights and requests are covered by the Terms of service.
For a notice of illegal content, email contact@wsappinc.com with the exact product URL or profile, the location on flowtools, a clear explanation of why it is illegal, supporting evidence, your name and email where required, and a statement that your notice is accurate and made in good faith. Do not submit abusive or knowingly false reports.
To challenge a moderation decision, email the same address with the product, decision and reasons for your appeal. A person will review the circumstances and explain the outcome, subject to legal and security limitations. Any statutory complaint or appeal rights remain available.
